We are a small community with gigantic culinary talent. We would like to introduce you to our neighbor restaurants, all special in their own particular way. From the freshest catch of the day to family style pizza, to stewed Iguana - here are our awesome neighbors.

JAANCHIES RESTAURANT
Jaanchies Restaurant
Lovingly dubbed as the oldest restaurant in Westpoint, Jaanchie's is the very definition of an icon of Westpoint. As a family business, Jaanchie's is currently managed by the third generation. It was originally opened in 1936. The patriarch of the family, Jaanchi (sr) runs the place with his sons. Jaanchie's  is popular for its “Living Menu”, meaning that Jaanchie himself approaches each table to present you with available choices. As if this wouldn’t be precious enough, the guests can enjoy the Barika Hels (bananquit birds) chirping in the background, while they enjoy their food. Famous dishes include the Iguana Stew (Yuana Stoba) and Goat Stew (Kabritu Stoba).  Jaanchie's is one of our favorite spots and favorite people for sure!

BLUE VIEW RESTAURANT
Blue View Restaurant
As our next door neighbor, the Blue View Restaurant offers a view just as stunning as ours. The terrace is the excellent spot for winding down after a busy beach day. This restaurant is very popular for its lobster nights, BBQ Iguana (Yuana di BBQ) and Baileys with Oreo ice cream. You can enjoy cliff jumpers from their terrace, while you sip your drink away. On Sundays they have a local BBQ for all to enjoy and sometimes they do mix it up with a small band or DJ.
​Tip: Make reservations beforehand as they tend to fill up every day.

SOL FOOD RESTAURANT
Sol Food Restaurant
Located in the outdoors section of the Sunshine Getaway vacation rental, Sol Food Restaurant is an true pearl. Sunshine and David, the owners, are an American Couple whom emigrated from the US in 2007. They run the resort and restaurant with much love and dedication. The restaurant has an outdoor terrace surrounded by beautiful flowering bushes, which enhance the beautiful sea view. Sol Food doesn’t just have the best Pizza in Westpoint but we dare to say the best Pizza in Banda 'Bou. We love to go there after a busy shift and enjoy their fantastic brownies, their home-made Sangria and the peaceful atmosphere. 
Tip: It is advisable to make reservations!

SABOR DI PLAYA WESTPUNT
Sabor di Playa Westpunt
This restaurant has an unique setting as it is situated on the Playa Piskadó itself. The Gouverneur family runs the business, and we can tell you, they make the freshest catch of the day into the most delicious meal for you. We kid you not when we say that you can watch the fishermen clean the fish and have it within the hour to eat. The charming outdoors setting and good old family style meals attract young and old, locals and tourists all the same. Popular traditional seafood dishes include Kiwa, Kolebra and Kari Kari.

CACTUS CAFE
Cactus Cafe
Within Rancho El Sobrino Resort lays another hidden treasure. This friendly family-style restaurant, The Cactus Cafe, is owned and managed by a friendly Swiss chef named Taco. The restaurant is famous for its quaint atmosphere and its delicious African Peanut Soup. Taco is known for being generous with his recipes. We recommend the African Peanut Soup and his Coconut Fish. The restaurant is adorned with local art, beautiful greenery and has a romantic vibe.

Opening Hours:
Monday (Dinner) from 5:00pm to 9:00pm.
Tuesday to Sunday (Lunch) from 12:30pm to 3:00pm. 
Tuesday to Sunday (Dinner) from 5:00pm to 9:00pm.

KUNUKU DI PACHI COLA
Kunuku di Pachi Cola
It doesn't get much more local than at the Restaurant Kunuku di Pachi Cola. Although it opens only in the weekend, it is a local favorite and you will be delighted by their delicous food. Prepared with the knowledge of our islands' ancestors.

Saturday from 12:00pm to 4:00pm.
Sunday from 12:00pm to 5:00pm.

SHELTERROCK PARADISE
Shelterrock Paradise Restaurant
This charming restaurant is not located in Westpoint but definitely noteworthy! Shelterrock is a family-run business that offers the best of everything and is located in Flip (near Barber). From an awesome Karaoke night, eclectic fun décor to meals cooked and served in Coconuts, you get to experience it all there. Gito (one of the owners) is wonderfully entertaining to his guests. The restaurant offers an epic ocean and hilltop view of the Western side of the island. The vibe is casual and fun. We love to visit Gito and his family as they are just family to us! Visiting Shelterrock is an great experience and a must-do while on the island.

Closes at 10:00pm on Fridays and Saturdays.
Monday from 4:00pm to 9:00pm.
