You have made up your mind and your next visit will be to Westpoint, but how do you go about it and make the most of the day? We are here to help! ​​A Day at Westpoint: Get Away from the hustle and bustle of it all!
Arrive by bus or car around 10:00am to make the most of your day. Be sure to make a stop at the Playa Piskadó. You will find the local fishermen cleaning their catch and feeding the turtles. Swimming with them is an option, but be sure to respect their space and do not touch them.

Keep in mind that around 11:00am, the sun starts to get fierce. Be sure you have sun protection, preferably reef-friendly sunscreen lotion. We thank your for protecting our seas! Have plenty of water packed or purchase a cool drink on the way. Stay hydrated. Have a seat underneath our luscious trees and rest a bit. 
If you'd like to explore the area, you can choose to take a stroll around the little park at the entrance of Playa Piskadó, the Manzaliña Hi Flying Park, decorated by artist from the neighborhood. Be advised that the Manzaliña is a fruit-bearing tree of Curaçao, which produces small apple-like fruit and is mildly poisonous. Do not eat them.
Don't be shy to drop by the church and say hello to pastor Baak. He loves meeting new people! You can also write down your intentions in a book that can be found near the altar. Pastor Baak will read those during the next mass so the community can pray with you (without even meeting you). 
You may choose to have lunch at Playa Forti Restaurant, or any of its neighbors. Try our local dishes, you will love them! Every single restaurant has a signature dish, just ask what they are famed for and they will happily provide it for you. After lunch, you may choose to go swimming, snorkeling or even diving. We have plenty of activities to go around. 

In the late afternoon, you may feel things start to slow down as the sun makes it descent into the West. You are more than welcome to have an early dinner or a cocktail at any of the restaurants of the neighborhood and watch the sunset.

Please note that the last bus back to town leaves at 10:00pm!
